Green Deal Advisor Training (Non-Domestic)

Training as a Green Deal Advisor for non-domestic properties.

Stroma Certification’s approved Non-Domestic Green Deal Advisor (GDA) Training demonstrates how to produce recommendations reports for non-domestic dwellings using SBEM, a defined and robust hierarchy of energy efficiency measures and how to communicate the value of a Recommendations Report to a customer.

Stroma Certification’s face-to-face training allows you to be confident when offering your customers information to facilitate their investment decisions and assess potential energy savings.

Stroma Certification provides face-to-face training covering the soft skills and the technical expertise required of Non-Domestic Green Deal Advisors. All aspects of the GDA National Occupational Standards (NOS) are covered on the course.

Vital NDEA experience

Prospective Green Deal Advisors need to have membership of an Energy Performance of Buildings Regulations (EPBR) certification scheme for Non-Domestic Energy Assessors (NDEAs). Stroma Certification is authorised to operate a NDEA scheme.

Prior to the course, applicants should also be familiar with using iSBEM to produce EPCs. Stroma Certification’s NDEA training course includes full tuition on the use of such software.

Witnessed Assessment

Witnessed Assessments are carried out by Stroma Certification personnel within the allocated maximum time of two hours per Green Deal assessment. Candidates are assessed to ensure that their delivery of advice and explanation meets the required standards.

Continuing Professional Development

We recommend the completion of a minimum of 10 CPD hours to maintain your membership. Stroma Certification will post information for relevant courses to members to assist with fulfilling this requirement.
